Shuswaggi
from water bear, to eel, and even basilosaurus the Shuswaggi has many whispered identities. Playing off of the idea that turtles can grow moss on their backs I figured perhaps that's where the pelt comes from on this Shuswap Lake monster.
In the 1800’s, the bones of a sea serpent were discovered. Scientists named the reptile, Basilosaurus. As it turns out, they were...not quite right.

Basilosaurus was an extinct species of large predatory whale belonging in it's own group know ans archaecete. it lives in eocene epoch in the giant tethys sea where it now known as the dry sahara desert.
