otoh, details like this -- esp when they're meant to communicate character info -- will always be relative btwn charas. for example, here's a chara w a bunch of the cues i mentioned for greasy/unkempt hair above, but in isolation w this styling/posing, they dont rly read that way

This is Anjaly, she is the galar champion and yet she is still fairly socially awkward. She’s a pretty nice and straightforward person but she may not really read social cues all that well and it could end badly.
