Concept art by Marc Davis on Walt Disney's abandoned feature film, Chanticleer. Chanticleer was based on a tale by Edmond Rostand, author of Cyrano de Bergerac. Davis was one of Walt Disney's Nine Old Men, the famed core animators on the classic animated films.
