Here's the process for this one :

1) I started by working on the values (scales of grey) only, then 2) I added colors with indirect colorization, 3) I started to detail the vines, the flower and the clouds, 4) worked on the details again/added adjustement layers,

I didn't save the indirect colorization step, because I changed a lot of things (I actually did a first version but didn't like it, so I changed completely and adjusted the values, light etc).
But if you're curious, here's the first version ! (still really grey)

First I did the sketch, inspired by some references I found on Pinterest. Then I worked only in scales of grey with the values (took me a long time-). After that, I did an indirect colorization, & I finished it by painting the details/adjusting it just like a normal painting !

Love this armor design
