@ninfie i think they just did flat color and clipped a gradient on top of them (used masks for shadow colors, thats why there's smth next to the layers in pic 2)

the style i was going more this time was like AOZ Colors,so its really not my usual painting process though i hope to maybe do more with this process to be closer w my photo render style 👀

u dont even have to blend them sometimes lmao- keep it simple and use 3 shades :0
and sometimes if im working with really light colors, I put the darkest shade in the middle! (example on 2nd pic)
