The first photo is new, the second is ink and wash from July of 2018 when I started this journey. I enjoyed painting both and back in that summer, I would have never suspected that I would be a charcoal, much less, pastel artist.

I never played the original gen 2 Pokemon games until last year, but I've always had a special attachment to these guys thanks to Colosseum, HeartGold/SoulSilver, and Smash. I like how most of this generation's Pokemon have sort of a muted, pastel color palette.

Split! Laurel's mantis buddy. He left the Mantis Village and found his way to the colosseum, stuck with Laurel since they were about the same size. He didn't take too kindly to this, but they eventually got over their differences and became sparring partners and best friends.

Finally finished the 3rd form of Nemesis.

This is meant to be for a colossal type of fight, with her being practically nothing but the ground around her in the Colosseum, the human heart, and one of the protagonists' Weapons (in the stomach).
