Thoroughly splendid original John Severin cover art for 1966's POW! Magazine .

Amazing how many of these I can recognise. Elvis, McCartney & Ringo. Connery's 007 & the Men From UNCLE. Ed Sullivan laying out Johnny Carson. Lurch from The Addams Family, Hoss from Bonanza.

‘My name is Bond, James Bond…’ 60 years ago today, the camera started rolling on ‘Dr No’, and the cinematic adventures of 007 began. Here’s my tribute to the first man to utter those immortal words.

Good choice . I haven't seen that movie in a while. Have you seen the new Green knight movie yet? I only seen the Sean Connery movie Sword of the Valiant.

With a new film and a new graphic novel of Gawain & the Green Knight out now (and as it's a Xmas tale), figured I'd share an (very) old oil painting of Connery as the Green Knight. (The movie was awful, but Sean was great in the role).

Thank you.
It's really interesting that the interviewer refers to a character from Policenauts, since Policenauts was just released at this time. It's a phenomenon that rarely happens nowadays.
I guess Jim Houseman is also inspired by Sean Connery.
