At this point I go for the gut feeling but I think what helped me a lot to develop it is drawing from a lot of uncomfortable references
Perspective and distortion are always the best in learning to make interesting art because you really have to get creative to make it work jvhjg

hand drawn effects.. genuinely so pretty theres like zero motion blur and the textures are PERFECTTT im so obsessed. was going through the trailer frame by frame and i never paused on one that was disrupted by heavy blur or distortion

My old micheal distortion design was based on the idea that his hair would constantly be flowing (like in water) forming mouth shapes w/ negative space, which is how he’d talk. + teeth for creepiness lol
