Ah, 2014... I didn't get many games that year, but I do remember really loving "Dark Souls 2" that year.

More linear that DS1, but I loved the sense of scale and the extra RPG mechanics. Especially the ones involving environmental clues and puzzle solving.

I remember talking with friends about the Doctor Strange sequel when it was first announced, talking about how an opening weekend of around $120M would be awesome (DS1 was approx. $85M) and now numbers like $180M - $200M are being mentioned 😲🔥

There are some inexplicable outliers in DS1 though, notably in Blighttown. These big boys have little white triangle eyes, and the other boys are just... I dunno fuckin' weird, in general? Never been sure what their deal is, just nasty dudes.

5) Elden Ring - THE DEED IS DONE! What an incredible world to explore. Since this is a review, I can't ignore that a lot of the bosses were quite whelming, and I do still miss the structure of DS1, but hoo boy this was a great experience. Malenia will go down in history. 7.5/10

@mensongeodieux @At0mium_ Généralement ça passe toujours pas des tenues, la 1er est un PNJ du DLC de DS1 qui avait une tenue complètement décalé par rapport au jeu, mais qui est complètement raccord à BB, et pareil la 2eme image c’est une tenue de samurai présente dans le DLC de BB

Was thinking about which enemy in each Souls game (I started with DS1) personally creeped me out the most. Turns out it's unpredictable or unreadable shapes + arms. I'd love to see your list or single worst offender in the replies.

Finishing up Dark Souls 3; I'm so hyped for #ELDENRING mage run in Feb! Magic looks epic! I don't usually buy games on release. I got Dark Souls 2nd-hand & it languished on the shelf for ages before finally playing it. DS1 helped reignite my passion for gaming & I'm grateful!💜
