The Daizenshuu dates therefore imply that the end of Slump and the beginning of DB both happen in 749, and that her RR arc cameo is about a year after Slump ends. There are a few kinks, but it works about as well as any attempt to rationalize Slump possibly can.
Oolong explains that Mt. Frypan caught fire about 10 years before Bulma and co visit, so Daizenshuu 7 dates this to 739, a decade prior to the start of the series in 749. Annoyingly, Viz adds narration later describing Ox King and Chi Chi as being locked out “for months now”.

Bardock and Goku look alike, as you’d expect of father and son, but DBZ Movie 3 lets us see Tullece (Turles), who’s identical to Goku simply because “there weren’t that many types” of low-class Saiyans. Daizenshuu 3 attributes this to the low-class warriors’ shared environment.
Yes, it’s Goku’s adoptive grandfather Son Gohan, born in Age 658 according to the Daizenshuu 7 timeline, thus technically making him 92 when he reunites with Goku in 750...but of course by then he’s been dead for an unspecified number of years.
In the series, Piccolo explains that the world is subdivided into 43 districts (地区), one of which is West City. Daizenshuu 7 adds that these were originally the 43 countries that united into the world state (making West City originally a sort of city-state).
What kind of king, exactly? Bulma just uses the generic 王様/ōsama, but according to Daizenshuu 7, this was the “king of the nation” (国王/koku-ō) from 100 years ago. Doesn’t sound like a big difference, but the term 国王/koku-ō has a very specific meaning on DB Earth...
The 1993 "Majokko Daizenshuu" features an animation cel of Flash Honey that was never used in the series. It appears to have originally been from a scene in episode 12. #cutiehoney #cuteyhoney
If you ever wanted to know how to write “Piccolo” in Namekian, Daizenshuu 7 helpfully includes it in a short list of Namekian words. And sure enough, these runes appear throughout Piccolo and Kami’s Namekian conversation, every time they say “Piccolo” (ピッコロ in Japanese):

@SaiyanHooded Hi! I don't think that they've scanned all the illustrations from the Daizenshuu yet, but the user Nostal made some restorations. The colors are a little different from the original illustrations, but they're good
