It's strange to think in spite of being part of Xros Wars, the art style used for Digimon from Hunters is not same as the former series.
Like, the line strokes and shading are not exactly the same. Gumdramon is more similar to what's used in general for most Digimon.

16 - My main 2 inspirations for creating Blops were Starbound and Digimon. Their appearance and shape-shifting nature came from Digimon. I always loved the baby-forms, and the shapeshifting was similar to evolution. And how they kind of revert back to baby when low energy, too.
