fast approximate decode of latents produces nice pixel art
we could probably eliminate the dithering artifacts by learning a convolution instead of just using a Linear layer, but honestly I quite like it
Match 1.2 - Duck Cake vs Tradies
Winner: Tradies (5-0)
Despite the overwhelming vote, this one was really hard. Lots of dithering.
Process
- Take photos of my hand holding plastic gun
- Shrink and change colours in GIMP
- Reduce colours and add dithering in PixelOver
- Import into a Doom mod archive with SLADE
Played around with a web dithering tool for a bit, these ended up being my favorites (https://t.co/IgdX2KfwdG)
I forgot I made this a couple of months ago hahaha
It makes me laugh so much. So much dithering too, I should probably make it an MP4 instead.
@0xInterface It's my part of my daily practices 🙂 I do a lot of pixelart explorations, mostly revolving around landscapes and sometimes portraits too haha.
There'll be more upcoming series for FXHash other than "Dithering Nostalgia" in the future, that's for sure! 🌿
"Unmasked singer" by Mikael, 2nd place at Transmission64 graphics compo. The rasterline dithering gives a great impression of gold color and a higher resolution. Sweet. https://t.co/85hligjg5T
finished her body and tried another method of dithering

Been trying to make pixel art with a limit palette to practice dithering for a project I'm working on. It's going alright I think
using cool matcaps on booger bottom to demonstrate different baldi-style shaders in blender with their respective dithering techniques.

This was an experimental work, I tried to play around with dithering as a way to practice and to see how it looked. I wanted to do it earlier but college and my gradma death didn't leave me time.
My half of an art trade with @AFrostedMonster!
And a zoom because I really like the faint dots of dithering I experimented with
