Kaze and the Wild Masks. It's an indie 2D platformer inspired by DKC that I liked, but has a lukewarm reception and I see barely anyone with influence make reviews of. I think it counts.

The Gangplank Galleon underwent significant visual upgrades in the Game Boy Advance version of Donkey Kong Country. Not only was K. Rool's flagship updated to include three masts (the standard for any Rare galleon), but Krow's Nest from DKC2 was also included!

Archipelago was wild last night. The goal in DKC3 was to obtain 10 of the game's 15 Banana Birds. I did 170/181 checks and was in BK mode for awhile until someone found the last Banana Bird I needed.

And, I don't know if anybody else did this, but I actually totally misinterpreted their sprite. I thought they were wearing a little white suit with this kind of poofy tassel or feather tuft thing on top. 🤣
