Gotta love how Dimitri went from the tyrannical demigod Enerjak to the friendly cyborg echidna head in the Freedom Fighters' server room. I really like how Dimitri changed over the course of the comic. Character development baby! Also James Fry draws a freaking GORGEOUS Nicole!😍

Thrash the Devil, besides Enerjak, is one of those characters where I’m like “Why didn’t Sonic Team think of this? A character who has a realistic hatred for echidnas?” Like he would have been such a great rival for Knuckles. Sucks that ST has a bias against him

I think in terms of design, my favorite Sonic comic original characters are Tekno the Canary, Don the Rooster, and Dark Enerjak(?). I know nothing about them but their designs are top notch in my book.

Enerjak is an ancient, godlike, chaos-fueled villain from Archie Sonic.

Dimitri, an ancestor of Knuckles, turned into Enerjak after absorbing 11 chaos emeralds. Knuckles became him after the Master Emerald was corrupted. Two other echidnas used the name before them.
