yeah no, that's not how it works lol. if that was the case then every japanese character that "looks anime" is an anime character when that's not the case. no one says anything when a western character that "looks generic" to lets say master chief, why is it the case for anime?

Ok now that Light Island is complete I can say that I'm still impressed with how My Singing Monsters manages to mostly avoid "generic" monster designs. Even something as "overused" as a "light element" has no typical angels or energy dragons here. In fact, there's TWO spiders!!!
