I dunno why the latest Famitsu issue cover has both Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Arise on it, but it's pretty cool
Maybe a collab with a mobile game? The guy in the front doesn't look familiar to me

The latest issue from Famitsu showcase latest info about Ys Nordics the latest title in the series and an interview from Nihon Falcom President Toshihiro Kondo.
The following info and main highlights is mentioned in this interview:

@gameartarchive Design reminds me a bit of Susumu Matsushita’s work. He did a lot of art for Famitsu magazine, including the design of its mascot, Necky the Fox.

Time to piss off the believers but the only mention that I am aware of it eating its own tail (outside the game, lore) is from the Famitsu “MH Visual & Memorial Archives” which is written by Famitsu magazine staff, not Capcom. Even if Capcom signed off on it, it’s not official.
Octopath Traveler II Director Keisuke Miyauchi said in Famitsu one inspiration for upgrading the HD-2D engine they're now using, was to make scenes as beautiful as the trial scene in Chrono Trigger.
Chrono Trigger HD-2D Remake is the dream!!!
