So I earlier said I designed the head of the tripod like a buckler or shield. Then I remembered that they're also described as "a thing like a dish-cover." You think I captured that without having to re-draw it?

I used Correa's famous image as a base for the pose. The legs are kinda placeholder and the effect for the Heat Ray is very much a placeholder. It's meant to look like the haze you see on a hot road.

signed a book with a drawing of a tripod. I'm using my ideas, this sketch and Correa's design to come up with something possibly more accurate. Seeing as the top of the head was used as a bullet shield, I made it look like a buckler or helmet. Here it is.
