Ok, I’m gonna explain my "no render, render" process, here we go! So, notice I lay out hard edges colors for highlights, shades, and I really like the "painted on" blend. I’ll teach you how I do it and maybe you’ll like it too!

A random idea for edge highlights just popped into my head today. Basically, it works: I have an outline and a holdout shader connected to it. Then, in post, I can just add the highlights, which should work... HOPEFULLY.

Still a WIP. I'll see how it goes and update you guys.
