Happy Birthday, #BlackCanary!
(From our Injustice: Year 2)
@Bruno_Redondo_F 1/2
For those of you who want to know what Superman looks like when he becomes a dictator power, answerable only to himself, I suggest you read the
Injustice: Gods Among Us comic series.
Especially those first arcs, they're scary brilliant,
and brilliantly scary.
Then. By @TomTaylorMade and @Bruno_Redondo_F
Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year Two #1
As I think about it, adaptations into other media that have been adapted *back into comics* are some of the stronger entries in the super-media catalog, and generally were better than the shows or games from which they spun off. Yep, even Injustice:GAU, it was actually quite good
I'm pretty happy with how Tom Taylor handled Alan Scott in Injustice: Year Zero. There was no bury your gays trope, Alan was out of the closet from the start, he was happly married, secure of himself and inspiring.
002: Injustice: Year Zero (2020) #14
“It’s not impossible. He’s just better than you could possibly comprehend... he’s Superman.”
599/500 Injustice: Year Zero (2020) #13
Oh, I get it. For when you want to punch someone who’s a really long way away. That’s... actually very practical.
Today, my final issue of Injustice: Year Zero! Things go so big in this issue, Bruce's insurance premiums will never recover 🔥 all bets are off!
The Justice League suffers an attack in space and The Joker gains even more power: must be Injustice: Year Zero #12 by @TomTaylorMade, @CianTormey, @rainberedo, and Wes Abbott! https://t.co/btfRPFNXm5 #DCDigitalFirst
Not enough people are talking about just how good Injustice: Year Zero is! @TomTaylorMade writes with art by @CianTormey and colors by @rainberedo. The book is concluding soon so look out for the TPB when it drops or pick up the single issues (digital only). 8/10
Damian also appeared in a panel of Injustice: Year Zero today!
