Welcoming February 1st, feast day of St BRIGID who ushers in Spring in Ireland's Celtic calendar. I used live at Faughart, her reputed birthplace. Love this queer icon of St Brigid with her soul friend St Darlughdach

Meet our final contributor - Amy Louise ✍🏻

Amy Louise is an illustrator and sometimes animator from Cork. She spent a chunk of 2020 living in Japan, narrowly avoiding Ireland's first lockdown in favour of eating 7/11 noodles and speaking bad Japanese.

'Another surprising title seems to confirm the continued success of Ireland's animation industry. The film in question is Tomm Moore and Ross Stewart's fantasy flick Wolfwalkers.’ https://t.co/39YnWooMnz

DAY 5: LEPRECHAUNS
The leprechaun is Ireland's most famous mythical creature, known for it's obsession with gold and bringers of luck. Many people don't actually know they're fairies and it's actually very cruel to try hunt down their tiny pots of their most prized possessions!

Perhaps one of Ireland's most well-known symbols, magic harps are powerful tools. The Dagda's magic harp brings order to the world, setting the seasons in place and sense to the hearts and minds of men. Everything has a place and the harp places it there
