Today would have been the birthday of the legendary Shotaro Ishinomori. He is known as the creator of many Japanese superheroes series, such as Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Cyborg 009 and more.
Without him, Tokusatsu wouldn't be the same.

this isn't even the only time- as stated in an interview, his Cyborg redesign was inspired by Kikaider- another Tokusatsu hero created by artist Shotaro Ishinomori.
