My comic was written to be a romance, even if it doesn't seem like it yet. It's a major slow burn. The romance will be one of the things that helps the characters through the situation, and as they open up to each other, we'll see new sides to their personalities.

Yep! I love fantasy, but it means coming up with a lot of stuff. Beyond is the same universe as S&S, and while Sairith is kiiiinda just England. Goshenia is it's own place, with a unique culture, customs, fashion, architecture, system of government... Took work!

I guess my first ever story with an LGBT+ character was a FNAF fancomic. It's no longer online now, though. The oldest work I have with LGBT+ characters still around is my current comic! I fully intend to have queer characters in everything I make in the future, too.

Heroes by Necessity was inspired by ... but more importantly it was inspired by wanting to write a queer fantasy story where the characters were LGBTQA+ but also were adventurers who did epic things together!
