I would talk about Daredevil comics, for example, but that’s a smaller pool of content, and the top tier stuff — Ann Nocenti , JR jr, Miller, Janson, David Mazzucchelli, Waid, Paolo Rivera — is already so widely discussed that I don’t feel I’d bring anything new to the discussion
Rewatching Batman Year One right now. one of my favorites of the DC Animated features. Incredibly faithful adaptation of Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli's Story with Beautiful Animation and Great voice work, with Bryan Cranston's version of Jim Gordon being a major stand out.

#TheBatman 🎨 by Lee Bermejo after David Mazzucchelli’s splash page to 1987’s Batman #407, the concluding issue to Frank Miller’s “#Batman: Year One”. 🦇🔦🌃
Altro giro, altro poster.
E citazione: quell'artista vero che è #LeeBermejo ha svelato la sua locandina per #TheBatman, e visto che parliamo dei primi passi del Battinson, quale riferimento migliore se non "Anno Uno" di Frank Miller e David Mazzucchelli?

@fanwithoutfear I loved David Mazzucchelli so much. While I don't see him in a lot DD books outside of "Born Again", I felt he was the most definitive and the first artist that got me exposed to the series.
Honorable Mention is Rivera, Samnee, Weeks & Checchetto
@SalazarKnight Agreed. While on first impression, I'm liking this stripped down, gloomier take on The Batman world...Almost reminded me on David Mazzucchelli's atmosphere/art from year one. The Brutal Batman while awesome at first is a tad much now thinking about it.

“You can never escape me. Bullets don't harm me. Nothing harms me. But I know pain. I /know/ pain. Sometimes I share it. With someone like you.”
Who wouldn’t want to read a David Mazzucchelli Western ? Daredevil #215.
