Vbidger/ifacialmocap vtubers, I am having lagging problems, if anyone knows any solutions! After about 30min-1hr, my phone will heat up and seem to start lagging on the transferring of data from IFM to vbridger. This seems to be the phone's fault. Anyone experience this? thanks💕
It's okay if not many VTubers can't be able to use the optical infrared camera-based mocap suits. Rokoko, XSens, and Perception Neuron do a great job with their full-body mocap. I use Rokoko and iPhone mocap for best tracking (I will be using Faceware for a project soon though!).
Can't use my webcam so I made a little character to stream games & utau stuff. No mocap, it works with the microphone and mouse inputs!

@TheHazarduz I happen to share a birth year with mocapped 3D cartooning itself
Looks much better and fits my model's style, especially when talking (Still gives a nice fluid face mocap).
2nd test with added blinking and lip movement to make her more lively. Future vtuber & creator perhaps? 😂

My Dad's co worker back in the 90s did some part time mocap work, you know, like the actors playing the Mortal Kombat characters? He really didn't like the costume they gave him, it felt pretty offensive at the time. But work was work.

Here is an image showing iPhone blendshapes mixed with the ":3" face and there are no more weird clipping issues. There is so much I have to keep noted for the tutorial, even iFacialMocap settings but I lost my phone which I need to record the IRL settings for iPhone.
For the night owls: my Muppet version of LORD OF THE RINGS: THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING featuring Statler, Waldorf, and (possibly mocapped) Constantine! Mixed media on 8.5 X 11" bristol board.
