Leyak is a monster from Bali folklore. It appears as a normal human during the day but during night its head detaches, it grows long fangs and tongue and drags the entrails along. I saw a perfect opportunity for an aye-aye inspired design.

Leshy is a forest spirit/demon from Slavic mythology and easily one of my favourite myths. I had so much fun drawing this giant bear-elk and his forest. I could just draw forest spirits all day long.

Wolpertinger is a Bavarian mythical creature that's a mix of different animals. I enjoy creating hybrid animals so I just used the classic recipe: head of a rabbit, body of a squirrel, wings and feet of a bird and antlers. Or the bony tumor causing papillomavirus.

Tlazolteol is the Aztec goddess of vices and purification. She would give diseases to people who over-indulge but she would be able to get rid of diseases by eating them. In a lot of her depictions she dons a jaguar skin and feathers so I worked with that.

Owuo is a one-eyed giant with long, flowing white hair and with an interesting story that eventually led to the giant's death. Magic dust was sprinkled into the giant's eye, bringing it to life, but with it came death, so now every time the giant blinks a man dies.
