Something I find funny is that in the Emperor Joker storyline, when Joker’s messed with the JLA (which includes Plas), he ends up kind of looking like what Disposable Man/Bizarro Plastic Man would look like in Terrifics. Even the shading makes his costume look black and white!

Getting the colors right for this was a pretty big challenge, but I'm glad I managed to get it to look right!

You can even tell he’s based off of the Plas Jr. of the 60’s comic by his girlfriend in “The Kingdom: Offspring” series he came from, Mikey DeLute, a direct pull from that original comic. Plus, in the end of the Kingdom series, when heroes see their alt selves, Plas Jr is shown!

so all plas fans know about this page. its always brought up to claim hes a perv. while plas fans agree this scene was EXTREMELY out of character for him, ive come to the realization that what was initially an ironic interpretation by yours truly may actually hold some water.

Frank Cho gets rightly called out often for his overly cheesecakey art and his tasteless humor, but man… I love his art. It’s able to balance realism and cartoony fun so well, everything looks appealing…

I wish I had gotten a Plas one-shot or something from him.

I’d say Kyle Baker’s run from 2003, and The Terrifics. Both are at the opposite ends of the Plas spectrum, with Baker’s being a Golden Age tinged highly comedic and cartoony run (though a bit too satiric at times) and Terrifics being a great modern, adventurous superhero comic https://t.co/9lx4s9N6EA
