Beginning a look at one of the unsung horror/genre comics, ACG's "Adventures Into the Unknown." It was one of the few pre-code titles that survived the Wertham purge and lasted well into the post-code era, running from the late 1940s through the late 1960s (170+ issues).

If you are familiar with the early EC books and early Wally Wood art, you have come across the name Harry Harrison. And while this cooperation did not work out in the long run, Harrison's art can be found in other pre-code horror books... like here.
