Tomorrow is the finale of Dragon Quest 4 on my stream, where we fight Sephiroth's "older brother", Psaro, in one of the coolest final bosses on the NES.

Yeah Psaro predates Sephiroth, but to be fair that specific take on his design was for the remake of Dragon Quest IV which came out after FFVII. But to be even fair-ier back during the NES days other artists would draw what they thought Psaro looked like and it was a similar idea

sephiroth/psaro comparisons make me laugh cus while dqiv released before ffvi (1990/97), psaro didnt get his current design until the ps remake (2001) so saying he looks like sephiroth & not vice versa is fair.

however mutsumi inomata depicted psaro like This as early as 1991 :)
