That Remoraid and Octillery were based on a firearm and a tank, respectively. They were designed away from this initial inspiration, but traces remain. Bonus: Hydreigon still has remnants of tank treads on its body from when it was going to be some kind of tank dragon.

I really kept thinking about Remoraid and Octillery's beta designs and I am sad every day that I don't have a fish gun.
