3D Model Release: Goomba (Super Smash Bros. Melee/SMB1)
I made this fella in my spare time as a means to get back into imitating Super Smash Bros. Ultimate/SPECIAL's art style.

K here it is!!
It's a toad who never got saved from Bowser in SMB1! I'm still developing more on them so take all the info said here as not final :)
I also wanted to lean more on the fact that Toads are mushroom people, and might be infectious. https://t.co/nDz9aGERcG
@Mortal_Nuke me and some others were making goofy mario sprites inspired by that one sprite of smb1 mario that is ever so slightly off from the original (original on left, weird one on right)
notice the extra pixels on his arm/hair and legs being too close
New Faker Mario.
Unlike the old one (that was based on SMB1 colors), this Faker is based on Jumpman's palette.
If this one will be well received, I'll continue working on him and on the lore in which he'll be involved.
I agree. Before Disney Club was made, I made concepts for SMB1 Mario for FNF. https://t.co/RLZg2O0X8T
@thebetah Yes!! These sprites have always been an interesting case, along with the other known beta SMB1 Sprites;
A little while back I also came across these sprites, and also did some recreations of other beta Mario sprites from footage and photos ^^
(also a few from the FDS Kiosk)
@jycompany_ Usually when new official SMB1 sprite stuff comes to light, I'll follow along, I...think I'll stick to my own path here though XD
i was gonna go to sleep like an hour ago but then i had a terrible idea, heres that one smb1 mario sprite that everyone hates where its very slightly wider but actually in smb1
Digging into the texture files of Super Mario Maker World Engine using https://t.co/BrBRFPYz6C.
Already making interesting findings, such as a background for a planned volcano theme in the SMB1 style.
So i'm started to realize why I stopped doing spriterips in general for the most part.
If you want to rip absolutely everything from a game, you're going to be playing it for a while... and then in SMB1's case I have to do it to three different versions of the same game.
Asymmetric SMB1 idle sprites;
Edited from the SMB1 Playchoice-10 cabinet/SMB1 development drafts
[ and of course with mario maker palette because that is the definitive smb1 color palette :) ]
Did you know? Bowser's sprite in Super Mario Bros. 3 saw three different edits across 27 years, redrawing big chunks of the sprite, and it even served as the basis of his new animations in the SMB1 portion of Super Mario All-Stars!
