189. "Brother, you are a monster!"
"No. I want to avenge our father" Ofidio explains furiously. "Maybe do you forget that Alan's army killed him in Moonhill?!"
"But just because he personally attacked Asmens in an unfair and avaricious raid...!"
182. ... but lanunians too... And the prince Tamadun is one of them.
"What is happening there?" Helen thinks, confused. "Lanunians kidnapping not only asmensians, but their compatriots too? That makes no sense!"
181. What Helen sees leaves her stunned: a dozen armed lanunians held the guests as prisoners! At first, Helen curses all Launun, thinking all this kingdom has betrayed Asmens. But, watching more carefully, the bard notices something: the hostages aren't only asmensians...
180. Helen may not be the stronger heroine in Asmens, but she is very stealthy, so she can go unnoticed and unseen to the palace's gardens.
She doesn't hear any noise, a disturbing fact.
There, she climbs to the windows of the wedding hall to watch what is happening there.
Man Art Mawhinney art for the Sonic Archie Comics were some the best in my opinion. Smooth draftsmenship.

109. "Also, I recommend you to travel over all Asmens: you are excessively established in the capital, watching only a little part of our kingdom.
Visit its villages, rivers, mountains and different peoples: your mind will be enriched with knowledge which is not in the books".
79. The crowd likes the poem pretty much: good rhyme and rhythm, equalizing both Asmens and Lanun, linking the two territories by their best portraits.
77. And then, in the middle of the delight of lanunians and asmensians equally, the animating shows begin: jugglers, dancers, actors, duelists... and, of course, bards.
Rebecca goes first. She plays her lute rhythmically and methodically while she sings about Asmens and Lanun.
76. The ceremony takes place with perfect normality and Beatrice and Tamadun swear each other eternal love.
Officially, Asmens and Lanun are one now: no more wars or conflicts between these two places.
66. "Sure, I don't see any problem with that proposal!" Beatrice assures. "Let's see... She wanted to write an epopee about Asmens and Lanun so... I will say that the tone of her poem will be epic and historic".
57. "And... Well, little by little, we were falling in love with each other, as in a knightly tale, as Asmens and Launun relationships were improving in parallel... What a beautiful coincidence: love who brings peace and brotherhood".
54. "During the last peace talk between Asmens and Lanun I spoke about the daily hell all asmensians captivated soldiers live as galley rowers'' Beatrice continues, but with a sad mood. "This was an inhuman way to deal with people...".
47. "Hey, you are Helen The Blonde, one of the best bards in Asmens!" Beatrice exclaims with joy.
"Oh, your Highness is too kind to this poor musician..." Helen thanks while she blushes.
26. "So, beyond the good pay, aren't you excited for the historical event?" Rebecca finally says after an awkward silence.
"Of course I am amazed by the union of Asmens and Lanun! Only a fool wouldn't be interested in something that is gonna change everything geopolitically!"
25. She is Rebecca, one of the best bards of Asmens. In front of Helen, who is self-taught, Rebecca learnt her trade by the college.
Those opposed styles (and their pride) have caused a great rivalry between the two artists, trying each time they encounter to surpass the other
11. "But, since is for the good of Asmens, I will do my bit for the unification: no more wars with Launun means relief, new commercial opportunities and progress, after all".
Helen's worries about Alonso were unfounded: the hate can't control the halberdier, a prudent besieger.
9. During this decade, Helen and Alonso not only become good friends, but comrades too, helping their kingdom and their compatriots in some missions together.
"Hey, Alonso: With the wedding, Asmens and Lanun will become one, right? No more wars between us...!
Alonso snarls.
Helen is decided: She will sing and play in Princess Beatrice's wedding.
So the artist will travel to Ferrea, capital of the kingdom of Asmens, the place where she will have the leading role in... "A BARD, A WEDDING AND A CONSPIRACY".
