I don’t keep much of my process, so it might not be very helpful, but I draw pretty much like other illustrators!
I start by roughly sketching the shape, add basic shading, then refine the details until it’s complete!

i used to think i was making the palms too light, but in hindsight it wasn't light enough
and sometimes i'd just plain forget the shading 😔
definitely something to keep in mind for when i design the ones for ZA (and redraw all these old ones)
