Shadowlands was a not bad expansion for me, better than BFA.
I did stop to play at second(?) patch (Korthia).
The most cool parts are covenants and an amazing locations.
Necrolords are best!
Fav loca is Ravendreth, but Ardenweald is awesome too of course, but I hate their quests.

Final hot take of Shadowlands to round it all out: Sylvanas should have been the box art character.

Beyond the fact that Bolvar basically did not matter, Shadowlands was unequivocally Sylvanas' expansion, for better or worse. The entire narrative was hers from start to finish.

It's a fully functional weapon model, that players canonically own and use multiple times as a *major* plot device in Shadowlands. And yet after the construct chapter of the Kyrian/Necrolord campaigns, it just vanishes

I understand the eventual outcome of doing away with the lich king as a concept and breaking the scourge up into a more decentralized threat that's easier to work with in story, but yeah.
