Fun fact about Pitaya! So he's from an emulated game of pokemon red right? Shinies can't be obtained in the first gen games, so how does he have a shiny Mewtwo? Well you see, shinies CAN be obtained in the gen1 games.

Green shiny remind me of moss variants
Doduos are my favourite pkmn and their shiny variants reminded me of walking bush,
which inspired me to draw grass type variants, to just even more nature based fluffy variants
