Saga of the Swamp Thing #27: This issue was basically a good ol fashioned monster slugfest, featuring as it does a three-way superhero/villain battle with the side characters caught between. The payoff was strong though, with recent issues building to it well. #SwampedThing
Dear @BigwaxIO: what will it take for you to change the subtitle of your upcoming vinyl release of the KOF 98 OST, from the vastly inferior US tagline of “The Slugfest”, to Japan’s INFINITELY SUPERIOR “Dream Match Never Ends”? (via https://t.co/zDWreK5TDP)
It's Brute vs Dingus in the title bout!! Who will win this epic slugfest?! 🥊💙🥊💙
Thank you so much @Watsiy for doing this absolutely AMAZING picture!! Definitely one of my favorite pieces to date now! 💙💙💙
Who’s ready for a good ol’ fashion Is'nana The Were-Spider slugfest?

Slugfest / Doom II / Vanilla / 1995 / MAP01-MAP10 / by Shamus Young
Shamus's Doom debut. Most of these levels were clearly built with a parallel deathmatch function but the penultimate entry has a cool if minimalistic early take on catwalks in the void.
A sayain belonging to @NaggieFly
Feel like drawing a brawl between her and my sayain from xenoverse 2
An all out slugfest
Immortal Hulk (2018) #7
Can even the Mighty Avengers stop the Imortal Hulk? Writer Al Ewing communicates the true devastation of a super-slugfest. Artists Joe Bennett, Rudy José and Paul Mounts combined talents really visualize the repercussions of the visceral violence. 5/5
Mighty Thor (2015) #701
War Thor stands alone against Mangog! Aaron is the best at emulating the simplicity of a Lee/Kirby epic slugfest, while keeping the tonal complexity of modern comics. Harren/Stewart’s art definitely has a Kirby vibe. 3/5
