Before you guys get triggered hear me out. I grew up watching the old Spiderman cartoons and I read the comics before, so this version of Spiderman means a lot to me. The NWH Spiderman is cool too but I feel like I have more of a connection with comic Spidey.

Contest of Champions basically just confirmed Tobey and Andrew, and they’re also HEAVILY pushing Kraven with Tom’s Spidey. They also kinda hinted at Charlie’s Daredevil, but this could be a coincidence. Interesting. I wonder if any of this means anything.

In the 90s, after Peter married MJ, Marvel thought that adult Spidey would make him lame. But they couldn't do anything really stupid like retcon him. So instead we got the Clone Saga, which made married Peter into a clone and swinging single Ben Reily into Spidey.
