Superman’s mullet is a symbol of the character in the 1990s, and now the classic look returns to mark his long-awaited return to Earth in hilarious new art from .

wait is this a Pa Kent easter egg or just a similarity

if it was meant to be Superman’s dad then that’s a fun nod

“Superman’s not dead. […] I know he’s up there, building an artificial heart to keep the sun alive. He’ll be back when he’s done, Jimmy. And when he’s done…he knows where to find me.”

But he’s not in Superman’s league.

I really love Sunstone. Think it’s an underrated accoutrement of Superman’s world. A little remnant of krypton packed with information that keeps the culture alive. A seed that grows into something incredible

People always overlook one of Superman’s greater powers:

Super manners.

Alien suits, imo don’t fit Superman’s character. Yes he’s an alien, but he’s also a homegrown hero from the countryside. With those values, so him wearing a homemade suit fits his with that. Alien suits are too edgy for him as a permanent look.

Hawkwoman, the war mother of Earth, will intervene to prove to Earth’s heroes Superman is on their side as Darkseid and Lex Luthor prepare their next moves in response to Superman’s arrival…
Next month we have THE WAR MOTHER OF EARTH in DC MECH

Who do you think is Superman’s greatest enemy?

You’ve met John Henry Irons, meet his niece Natasha! Not long after her uncle started his adventures as the hero Steel, she donned her own suit of armor and went by the same name! She’s been a member of the Titans, and is currently a member of Superman’s Authority.

Now I need to find out how this finished! Byrne gave Superman’s villains a bizarre, creepy edge.

DC Comics published SUPERMAN’S PAL JIMMY OLSEN’S BOSS PERRY WHITE, reprinting a great Perry White and Wildcat story wrote and I drew (colored by Joe Infurnari & lettered by John J. Hill) in comix shops today!

I really appreciate when Kryptonite isn’t an instant zapping away of Superman’s powers. Imo should be a tremendous amount of pain to fight through but he needs to have the chance to fight through it.

Even though Superman’s powers were mostly electrical and electromagnetic energy, he could convert other forms of energy into lighting and back.

“Superman” by Frank Frazetta (1988)

This watercolor and ink was a commission to commemorate Superman’s 50th anniversary.
Frazetta said that his version of ‘the Man of Steel’ was based on the style of Superman’s original creators, Jerry Siegel and Joe Schuster.

I think some fans are hesitant to admit Superman is a power fantasy because the term has become associated with wanting to be tough, badass, coming from a place of wanting to punish. I think Superman’s core is a power fantasy about wanting to protect and wishing you could do more

Jack Kirby’s Clark Kent is not “Superman’s critique of us.” He understands how, in the United States and elsewhere, minorities are treated, and what it means to be a model minority, what it means to pass or to be read as a majority member. https://t.co/alm4h45ode

I love how Superman’s gladiator suit is getting a bit closer to Superman colors as the rebellion rises. I hope nobody gets mad at me for saying I like the KC “S” way more when it has yellow in it

One of the big reasons Action Comics is hitting right now is it’s felt like a good time to get back to Superman’s rebellious spirit

is pretty epic at the moment. Here’s my rendition of Superman’s current look in that story 🙌🏻
