11) Revue Starlight. Which is also not obscure, but I don't get to talk about it all that much, so it goes on this list! I love musical anime, and musical theater even more so. Revue Starlight explores a lot of themes about the takarazuka revue and also has a LOT of symbolism.

A patron who donated tons of manga to us urged me to read this because it was her favorite manga as a child & was so excited to find it translated into English. It is...a product of its time, for sure. And oddly christian? But so cool that it was inspired by the Takarazuka Revue.

I've heard it speculated that the pattern on Blaze's cloak is similar to the design on Silver's bracelet, strengthening her connection to the future.
