todays second deep sea animal of the day is the vampire squid (vampyroteuthis infernalis) !! it is surprisingly not a squid or an octopus , it has its own order called vampyromorphida :D its the only known surviving member of this order !

Celebrating the glory that is Vampyroteuthis infernalis, the vampire squid, who is neither vampire nor squid. This is known as “pineapple posture” and is deployed as a (questionable) defence mechanism by worried vampire squids.

While Wall Blisters are stated to have the light-sensing organ of Vampire Squids, they also have mouths that are suspiciously close to that found on "Promachoteuthis sulcus".

The sulcus is a deep-sea squid that only one specimen has ever been found of, with human-like teeth
