또한 WOD의 일부 라인에는 현대만 있는 것이 아니라 중세, 즉 다크에이지스 버전과 빅토리아 시대 버전이 따로 존재하며, 체인질링: 더 드리밍과 다크에이지스: 페이의 차이처럼 현대엔 몰락해가는 반-요정들이 중세에는 아직 신처럼 막강한 존재로 나타나는 등 설정 차이가 극심한 케이스도 있습니다.
