Just finished this Baby Duck. It was painted on a cradled wood panel
with acrylics. Even though I sealed it with gesso, it seemed to suck up my paint as I applied it.🤷🏼♀️ It was a challenge…maybe next time, oil would work better.😉

I did some unplanned progress shots while I played with Gouache watercolors and acrylics. 1/5
Messed around a bit with Krita's RGBA brushes. Brought back fond memories from when I painted with acrylics.
Be sure to install the Pigment O plugin by Eyeodin for more granular colour control if you plan on trying out Krita, especially if you are coming from Photoshop.

What if I went and drew NPCs (be it major ones or Job quest ones?) in "traditional" job outfits, e.g. like they appeared in FFI, III, V or XI?
