Anatomy is hard, kids.
I probably can be consistent, but its funnier if I'm not.
anyway resources:
Color Theory - Color and Light
Anatomy reference - Anatomy for Sculptors
Anatomy study - anything Proko is a good start then you could pick up Loomis stuff too
@JabroniCalzones I won't be surprised if eventually, cartoony exaggerated art style makes a massive comeback, because cartoon style twists the anatomy and it requires some "le human feelz" to distort parts of its shapes in aesthetic ways
something AI had hard time doing, when I see the results
sometimes I wonder, if AI becoming even more powerful (I've seen a generated works in Kaneko's style, horrifies me), eventually human artist would ditch the "professional" anatomy and return back to the era of sketchy, cartoony exaggerated designs
"learn the basics of anatomy before you bend the rules" Mull shared the very good armor study tip!👍
From human-figure to armor anatomy, the more you know, the better you can imagine the character figure. So my tip is not only to know the outfit and armor, human anatomy is still… https://t.co/KUDESCYRUX https://t.co/hGxgyuZyhD
I'm figuring out how to draw. I love studying female anatomy. I also love Hoshimachi Suisei.
(Ignore my inconsistent quality. I'm still figuring it out.)

I think it looks fine now? what do you guys think?
really not used to drawing the body directly XDD, have been relying on clothes too much to trick you guys into think I have good sense of body anatomy XDD
@HasBussy it's funny, i didnt initially conceptualize her as plus-sized but she eventually became that way over time (kinda, idk if she counts as that)
cuz the joke was always big boobs=melons but the anatomy looked weird and alien when i drew her skinny so i changed it
