Maybe interesting? The Agnus/Gormotti aesthetics we've seen use a red-knot motif that resemble the Japanese agemaki knot, a decorative tassel used on samurai armours. Nia in Xenoblade 2 did NOT use this motif; her red knots were the simple "bunny ear" style.

Akira Toriyama made a bikini armour for the female Warrior too in Dragon Quest 3😝. I think bikini armours are fine as long as the male characters also get the same treatment👍.
