I was diagnosed with late onset Type 1 Diabetes at age 19, which is an autoimmune illness so no its not "the diabetes you are born with". I do various art pieces related to diabetes in order to both cope and raise awareness

There are always ups and downs with autoimmune disorders that're trying to kill you, but... I woke up feeling okay. It's been a long time since that's happened. Immunosuppressants and the rest of the day will wipe me out, but it's nice to wake up not in pain. I hope it lasts.

Hey I have never actually talked here about something that has been a part of my life for the past 5 years, starting when I turned 18. I have ulcerative colitis, an autoimmune disease. It has been a scary journey but I'm doing my best to have a happy life!

Here's some more examples of my work.
Thank you, really.

Taking a moment to speak as someone with an autoimmune disorder and lungs that look like someone fired a shotgun full of clots into them that blood thinners don't dissolve...

Thank you to everyone who's wearing a mask right now. I appreciate you helping keep people like me safe.
