[The Swan Lake]

I really love musicals and ballets since forever, so I wanted to do a tributed to one of my favourites shows, Princess tutu.

I wanted to play with the composition this time because... symmetry fits with ballet and it elegance!

Hope you like it♥

Happy 200th Birthday! Lucile Grahn – the first to dance the title role in Bournonville's La Sylphide (when she was 16!) – was born 200 years ago today. In London, Perrot created ballets Eoline and Kaya for her in 1845 as well as the divertissement Pas de quatre.

The Art Gallery's Matisse & Ballets Russes exhibition closes this Sat 27 April! Did you know Matisse first tried cut-outs while designing sets for the Ballets Russes in 1920? He returned to the medium in his old age - see beautiful examples in the gallery!
