Basculin desperately needed this and my god it's amazing. I love both forms but I think I like the female one a bit more cause the blue is very pleasant on my eyes. Also the new white striped form is cool but feels odd when it becomes the male one since it looks more blue to me

white striped basculin is very cute but also very annoying to catch. i appreciate the attention to the lore though! male basculegion is really cool but the girl one is kinda weird. the story behind basculegion is pretty cool too

And when you evolve this Basculin, you get Basculegion! Another new favorite Pokemon of all time to me. They took a regular bass and made it into a ghost behemoth! It's just so cool and even has a whole different look depending on gender!

This one is weird since it both is and isn't a regional form. Unova Basculin are separated by red/blue stripe forms while this new one is a white striped. It's classified as a regional form since it can only be found in Hisui creating a slightly different take on the concept

I think It will fit in this form since Basculegion evolve with the souls of its died Friends.
It Is more spectral and less aggressive then the original known form.

Why would Goomy not get a Hisuian form though? I doubt they’d do Sligoo and Goodra but not goomy, (we’ve never had a 3 evo line only give 2 of the evos Regional forms) it’s more likely Basculin doesn’t get a Hisuian form and Basculegion just evolves from a regular Basculin
