As well as #SciArt, Lizah makes #DnD and #Videogame art, portraits and of course, #comics! Lizah’s #science comic ‘Discovery’ is on @webtoonofficial and explores the stories behind famous discoveries in #microbiology. https://t.co/z4K6bOJzUG
@Crazy_Crash08 Raisel is a vampire, acting as a professor at a school specializing in biology. He hates it~
It’s #FlyDay celebrating #Drosophila !Fruit flies are an amazing model system that have led to many crucial discoveries in fundamental biology. Check out some of our #Fly #SciArt! #SciComm
Drain Deimos are human/insect hybrids created in the wild, and this led to them having very a very unstable biology.
Their red muscles contained myoglobin, a protein used to carry oxygen, like a mammal, but their blood lacked hemoglobin, and was green.

"You just proved my point per coping and rejecting psychology, neurology, and biology. You are coping, and will not be happy until you come content with the fact that you will ALWAYS be a boy" https://t.co/INIovELJR7
It helps that I enjoyed the book as well, love the Superior Iron Man suit’s liquid design and how it’s based on symbiote biology. https://t.co/ziG5G7J2Fa

I must congratulate @WryCritic for their publication with @SteveBrusatte in Current Biology. An excellent, well-illustrated review of pterosaur biology. It's sort of the whole package.
"Professor Van Moose here, and I'll be your professor in Biology."
Currently looking for some cool posters to represent diversity in scientists of Biology. I've gotten a nice looking Rosalind Franklin poster and a George Washington Carver poster to go along with Darwin.
Anyone know of some neat biology scientist posters?

Just wanting to talk about "hip dips" here. You have two bony protrusions, the greater trochanter from your femur and the illiac crest from your pelvis. Between them is little to no muscle tissue. It is a product of your human biology. It IS okay to have human features.
Artist Alley Spotlight on... @KawaiiChikkie
"Audra is from Baytown, TX, and graduated from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor with a degree in organismal biology. But her artist interests in collecting stationary led her to KawaiiChikkie instead!"

Like everybody else in the world of science, I've been having fun exploring the database of AlphaFold structures. Here are (subunits of) a few proteins that show up often in my paintings. It (amazingly) gets all the bits and pieces right, but doesn't quite yet get the biology.
