So I’m creating a comic called imagine. It’s set in a giant monster/kaiju apocalypse. so it’s kind of like a mix between the game Recore with some Godzilla style monsters thrown into the mix. Here’s some concept art

And finally the Seal!  The species used is the common harbor seal. The most challenging aspect, simplifying the mottled coat down to spots that had enough room for the number and braille.  I love the way the seal turned out.

Dunna, dunna, dunna!  The great white shark is today’s post!  I enjoyed both the shark and the background elements.  My original shark had a goofier smile but we changed him to be a bit more menacing and sharklike.

Next up the crab!  The hardest part of this: Draw the crab, have none of the 10 legs overlap. Do as little overlap as possible.  Having things overlap makes it more challenging for the kids to feel the outline of the animal.

Now onto the Stingray.  I used a Cownose Stingray due to its coloring.  These neat creatures are closely related to sharks a fact I learned while working on this project.

Next up the Dolphin! I really loved this one as the Dolphin is so happy.  The teeth shape is cut out of the mouth so the kids can feel them.

In order to succeed you must fail. In order to fail you’ve gotta try. And in order to try you have to be courageous = Have the courage to fail and you will ultimately succeed
