This little guy? Not even related to the bigger guy. The Dwarf Bulborb falls under the Breadbug family, and mimics the appearance of Bulborbs to hunt alongside them. Make sure you squash them with a direct toss to the bum before you start attacking the leader!

Design-wise, it's careening dirigibugs or breadbugs. Gameplay-wise it's either breadbugs, because it's fun to fight for items with them, or dweevils, because I like how they carry the items on their head. (except for volatile dweevil that one makes me cry)
