Freya Crescent. While I do like Kihmari and Red XIII, Freya always won out for me as the talking animal I'd prefer in my party, I've always enjoyed dragoons, plus, rat girl. (Technically Burmecian but y'know what I mean).

Also really good in a party if you know how to use her.
